Preparing for Spring and Summer with new plants. The rainy season has left the ground soft and moist, ready for new plants.
The series of storms that have hit the west coast over the past two months have caused a bit of flooding in our backyard. The good news is that the water was more of a pool than a river, but the rain was much needed here in Northern California.
It was a good summer for tomatoes with warm temperatures and sun. In past years the plants didn’t produce near as many as this year. I credit it to an in improved mulch, less watering, and better weather.
